13.2 kWp / 10 kVA SOLAR PV ROOFTOP SYSTEM
Perdaman Advanced Energy (PAE) partnered with the Shire of Mundaring to design, supply, and install two small-scale rooftop solar PV systems across key community facilities, supporting the Shire’s vision for sustainability and clean energy adoption.
The projects were awarded under a single tender and strategically engineered to maximize renewable energy generation in line with each site’s specific energy demand, helping to reduce reliance on grid electricity and lower operating costs.

These systems were tailored to each facility’s energy profile, ensuring optimal solar performance and long-term value. By implementing these projects, the Shire of Mundaring has taken another step toward achieving its renewable energy and carbon reduction goals, while demonstrating leadership in sustainable community infrastructure. Despite the project’s remote location, which had the potential to introduce significant logistical and delivery challenges, PAE mitigated risks through proactive planning and early mobilisation. Our installation team strategically travelled to site a day ahead of schedule, including over a weekend, ensuring that works commenced promptly and progressed without delay.
1. Darlington Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade
6.6 kWp / 5 kVA SOLAR PV ROOFTOP SYSTEM
Perdaman Advanced Energy (PAE) was awarded the contract by the Shire of Mundaring- Darlington Volunteer bush Fire Brigade for the design, supply, and installation of 6.6 kWp / 5 kVA solar PV system, successfully commissioned in September 2022. The system comprises 15 premium Jinko Solar 440 W panels, seamlessly integrated with a robust 1 Solar Edge 5kVA inverter.
The 6.6 kWp solar PV system is expected to generate approximately of 10,900 kWh clean energy annually, The generation is offsetting around 8720 kg of CO₂ emissions each year. This environmental benefit is equivalent to the carbon absorption capacity of approximately 401 mature trees annually.
2. Lake Leschenaultia
6.6 kWp / 5 kVA SOLAR PV ROOFTOP SYSTEM
Perdaman Advanced Energy (PAE) was awarded the contract by the Shire of Mundaring- Lake Leschenaultia for the design, supply, and installation of 6.6 kWp / 5 kVA solar PV system, successfully commissioned in September 2022. The system comprises 15 premium Jinko Solar 440 W panels, seamlessly integrated with a robust 1 Solar Edge 5kVA inverter.
The 6.6 kWp solar PV system is expected to generate approximately of 10,200 kWh clean energy annually, The generation is offsetting around 8160 kg of CO₂ emissions each year. This environmental benefit is equivalent to the carbon absorption capacity of approximately 374 mature trees annually.
