31 kWp / 30 kVA SOLAR PV ROOF-MOUNTED SYSTEM
Brookmount Drive, Ellenbrook WA, 6069
Commissioned May 2023
Perdaman Advanced Energy (PAE) was awarded the tender to design and install a 31 kWp / 30 kVA solar PV system for Arbor Primary School as a part of the Department of Education’s Schools Clean Energy Technology Fund Program.
Project Objectives:
The rooftop solar installation empowers the school to produce clean, renewable energy onsite, significantly reducing its reliance on grid electricity. This initiative helps mitigate the effects of rising energy costs, while also delivering long-term economic benefits. By harnessing sustainable solar power, the school enhances its energy resilience, reduces its carbon footprint, and contributes to broader environmental and educational sustainability goals.
The installation features 62 high-efficiency Trina Solar 500 W panels, paired with 2 Fronius Symo 15.0-3-M inverters, providing a robust, scalable, and efficient energy solution. The system was fully commissioned and brought online in May 2023. The design and engineering teams strategically customised the solar system across two separate buildings to optimise energy production and load distribution. This approach improved efficiency and significantly reduced infrastructure costs, such as cabling and installation complexity.
