In 2018, PAE was awarded the contract by Hawaiian, one of WA’s largest shopping centre owners, to design, supply, install, and commission 369.6 kW to the existing rooftop solar PV system at the Mezz Shopping Centre.
The system features 924 highly efficient Jinko Solar 400 W Panels supported by 7 Solar edge Inverters, 50kVA each .

Perdaman Advanced Energy (PAE) undertook a comprehensive feasibility assessment of three solar PV integration options for the Shopping Centre. The proposed design optimised utilisation of the available roof space while strategically avoiding interference with existing HVAC units and other critical infrastructure.
All works were carefully planned and sequenced around the operational requirements of the Shopping Centre, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants and the public by navigating installation within permitted working hours. Perdaman Advanced Energy (PAE) successfully completed the design and installation of a 369.6 kWp / 350 kVA rooftop solar PV system for the Melville Plaza. This installation marks a continued commitment from both Hawaiian and PAE for a cleaner and more resilient energy future.
