80 kW, 30 kW & 5 kW Solar PV Systems
Administration Building, Autumn Centre & Churchill Park public facilities, Rockingham WA
PAE designed, supplied, installed and commissioned three solar PV systems on City of Rockingham buildings based on a successful tender, including real-time solar monitoring. PAE analysed each building’s electricity consumption to accurately calculate the optimal size of the systems.
These were submitted as an alternative tender and successfully adopted by the City after recognition of the commercial benefits and technical merit of PAE’s proposals.
Outcomes
- Since completion in early November 2014 the 80 kW system has provided over 33% of the electricity consumed by the Administration Building and operated without fault.
- The 30 kW system has provided 29% of the electricity consumed by the Autumn Centre and the 5 kW system has provided 10% of the electricity consumed by the Churchill Park Toilets. Both have operated without fault.
