95.63 kWp / 80 kVA SOLAR PV ROOFTOP SYSTEM
Perdaman Advanced Energy (PAE) was engaged by the City of Mandurah to deliver three small-scale rooftop solar PV installations across key community facilities, supporting the City’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and renewable energy adoption. The collaboration commenced in November 2021 with the design, supply, and installation of a 39.78 kWp solar PV system at the Senior Centre. Following the successful performance and reliability of the first system, the City of Mandurah once again partnered with PAE to deliver two additional projects in 2023 at the Mandurah Library and Ocean Marina Chalets.

Each project was tailored to the specific requirements of the site, utilizing a combination of premium technologies including SMA, Fronius, and Sofar Solar inverters, along with high-performance Jinko, Trina, and Suntech solar panels. This customized approach ensured that each installation achieved optimal energy production, system efficiency, and long-term reliability.
Through these projects, PAE successfully met and exceeded the client’s expectations, delivering solutions that not only reduce greenhouse gas emissions but also support the City’s vision of sustainable, cost-effective, and future-ready energy infrastructure.
1. Seniors and Community Centre

39.78 kWp / 30 kVA SOLAR PV ROOFTOP SYSTEM
Perdaman Advanced Energy (PAE) was awarded the contract by the City of Mandurah –Senior Centre and for the design, supply, and installation of 39.78 kWp / 30 kVA Rooftop Solar PV System. The system was commissioned in November 2021.
The system consists of 102 high-efficiency Jinko Solar 390 W panels, seamlessly integrated with two SMA Sunny Tripower 15 kVA inverters, providing a total combined capacity of 30 kVA. The design and installation were carefully tailored to suit the unique roof structure and available space while maximizing overall system performance and energy output. Throughout the installation process, the facility remained fully operational, ensuring no disruption to the community centre’s daily activities. The project was successfully delivered with a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and minimal impact on patrons. The 39.78 kWp solar PV system is expected to generate approximately 63,295 kWh/year of clean energy. The generation is offsetting around 50,636 kg of CO₂ emissions each year. The environmental benefit is equivalent to the carbon absorption capacity of approximately 2,326 mature trees annually.
2. Mandurah Library

30 kWp / 29.6 kVA SOLAR PV ROOFTOP SYSTEM
Perdaman Advanced Energy (PAE) was awarded the contract by the City of Mandurah –Library and for the design, supply, and installation of 30 kWp / 29.6 kVA Rooftop Solar PV System. The system was commissioned in August 2023.
The system comprises 60 highly efficient Trina Solar 500W Panels, seamlessly integrated with two Fronius Symo of 8.2 kVA and two Fronius Symo of 5 kVA inverters having total combined capacity of kVA. The 30 kWp solar PV system is expected to generate approximately 50,819 kWh/year of clean energy. The generation is offsetting around 41163.39 kg of CO₂ emissions each year. The environmental benefit is equivalent to the carbon absorption capacity of approximately 1,889 mature trees annually.
3. Ocean Marina Chalets

25.85 kWp / 20.4 kVA SOLAR PV ROOFTOP SYSTEM
Perdaman Advanced Energy (PAE) was awarded the contract by the City of Mandurah –Ocean Marina Chalets for the design, supply, and installation of 25.85 kWp / 20.4 kVA Rooftop Solar PV System. The system was commissioned in December 2023.
The system comprises 47 highly efficient Suntech Power 550W Panels, seamlessly integrated with eight Sofar Solar inverters in combination of 2.2 kVA and 5 kVA inverters. Each system is equipped with Zeco Marshall units, which provides common platform to monitor each independent building and manage its export limitation. Since all the buildings are connected to a single Western Power supply point, these units ensure that the total energy exported to the grid remains within approved limits, maintaining compliance, grid stability, and safe operation. As the first ZECO project implemented in Western Australia, this development stands as a landmark achievement and a key milestone in the region’s renewable energy journey. The 25.85 kWp solar PV system is expected to generate approximately 47,338 kWh/year of clean energy. The generation is offsetting around 37, 870 kg of CO₂ emissions each year. The environmental benefit is equivalent to the carbon absorption capacity of approximately 1,739 mature trees annually.
