59.85 kWp / 50 kVA SOLAR PV ROOFTOP SYSTEM
Perdaman Advanced Energy (PAE) was awarded the tender to design and install a 59.85 kWp / 50 kVA solar PV system for the City of Canning – Civic and Administration Centre, commissioned in November 2016.
The project served as an expansion to the site’s existing 40 kWp / 30 kVA system, significantly boosting its renewable energy capacity. The upgraded installation features 190 high-efficiency Canadian Solar 315 W panels, paired with two SMA Sunny Tripower 25 kVA inverters, ensuring reliable performance and seamless integration with the facility’s energy infrastructure. The system was custom engineered to meet the center’s operational energy demands, now generating approximately 78,505 kWh of clean energy annually. The outputs offset around 68,300 kg of CO₂ emissions each year, equivalent to the carbon absorption capacity of approximately 3,138 mature trees, supporting the City of Canning’s sustainability and climate action goals.
